What Takeaway does for you

A menu that fits your food

Sections and dishes, choices that set the price (Chicken, Lamb, Prawn…), add-ons, V, VG and GF marks, and the 14 allergens on every dish.

Collection and delivery

Deliver to the postcodes you choose, each area with its own charge, smallest order and free delivery over an amount.

Times you can keep

Your opening hours, as soon as possible or a later time today, a limit on orders per time, and a busy mode for a rush.

A kitchen screen

New orders arrive with a sound. Accept with a ready time, reject with a refund, then Ready and Collected - and print a ticket for 80 mm paper.

Customers kept informed

Emails when an order is received, accepted, ready or out for delivery. Orders can also go to the kitchen's Telegram group, and customers can message you on WhatsApp.

Paid through your Shop

Card payments through your own Stripe or PayPal, or pay on collection. Every order is also in your Shop, for refunds and records.

How an order works

  1. A customer opens your ordering page, at /order, and fills a basket from your menu.
  2. They choose collection or delivery and a time, and pay.
  3. The kitchen screen plays a sound. Press a time - 15 min, say - to accept it, and the customer is emailed when it will be ready.
  4. Press Ready, then Collected, or Out for delivery then Delivered. The customer hears at each step.
  5. A dish runs out? Mark it Sold out today and it comes back on its own tomorrow.

  • Takeaway is usually the heart of an ordering site we build for you, around your menu and your brand - so it is priced on application.
  • Delivery is to UK postcodes. Orders are for today: as soon as possible, or a later time before closing.
  • Kitchen staff get a role of their own that opens straight on the kitchen screen.
